Introduction
WoodWing's webinars aim to provide an efficient and interactive way to learn about the company's products and strategies.
Whether you're an existing customer looking to learn about exciting new features and abilities or a new customer interested in learning more about WoodWing's products, we hope you will join us! Look to see a list of dates and times for upcoming webinars. Attendees will need to register in order to attend.
Note, each webinar is held three times for various timezones around the world. The content is identical in all three sessions. At the end of each session there will be time for questions and answers.
Webinars are typically scheduled for three timezones:
- Central European Time (GMT +1): Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Stockholm, etc.
- U.S. Eastern Time (GMT -5): Detroit, New York, Toronto, Lima, etc.
- Malaysian Time (GMT +8): Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, etc.
Note that observance of Daylight Savings Time may affect these times depending on the time of year and the country you are in! For detailed information on how webinar times map to your own timezone, please visit the world time server.

- Digital Magazines Update - Version 1.4 - August 5, 2010 - In this webinar, users are shown the latest updates to WoodWing's Digital Magazine Tools - Version 1.4. New to the featureset is Scrollable Elements, which allows users to designate part of a layout as scrollable, showing more items as the user swipes their finger horizontally or vertically. Improvements to existing features like Dossier Links, Videos, and Web Elements are also covered along with enhancements to the Reader app.
- Introduction to Smart Mover - June 16, 2010 - Smart Mover is WoodWing's answer to intelligent automated assistance. Schedule tasks using a GUI interface and perform advanced actions such as: publishing dossiers to social media sites and web cmses; post URLs to web interfaces; and XSLT translations. In this seminar, attendees will learn what Smart Mover is and how it fits into the Enterprise workflow along with how to import and export files and use some of Smart Mover's advanced tasks.
- Digital Magazines Release - May 26, 2010 - In this webinar, users will be introduced to the release featureset of WoodWing's Digital Magazines solution. Of particular note is the Hot Spots feature, which allows designers to create content that appears when clicking on a portion of the screen. This is useful for pop-ups, creating a unique user-interface, or for changing colors on items on the screen. This session is intended for users new to WoodWing solutions as well as those interested in the final feature set of the Digital Magazines solution.
- Digital Magazines - Apr 15, 2010 - WoodWing's Digital Magazines tools are a solution for creating interactive, dynamic publications for Apple's iPad e-reader. In this webinar, users will be introduced to Enterprise, WoodWing's content publishing platform and learn about the latest solution, Digital Magazines. Attendees will see how to package content using the Content Station management application and the functionality added to Adobe InDesign for making interactive publications for Apple's iPad e-reader.

- Smart Layout CS4 - Oct 28, 2009 - Smart Layout is a WoodWing productivity plug-in created to help layout designers quickly and easily place articles in Adobe InDesign. Text frames can be labeled so that a single drag-and-drop places all article components at once. But Smart Layout offers even more: copyfitting tools keep designers within style guide parameters, a component feature helps InCopy users create text frames on the fly, and the ability to adjust columns independently helps designers avoid InDesign's vertical justification issues. In this webinar, participants will be introduced to the Smart Layout tool and see how it can be used to simplify article placement, fix vertical justification issues, and how the copyfitting palette can help designers fit text into frames without breaking style guide conventions. InCopy users will then see how Smart Layout can be used to add text components as needed to InCopy articles.
- Introduction to Brand Station - Oct 21, 2009 - WoodWing's Brand Station product is a new entry in the growing field of web-to-print solutions. Interest in this field continues to grow as more and more service providers see the benefit of offering customers the ability to customize, approve, and/or download their print materials from a centrally-managed location. In this webinar, learn how Brand Station allows designers to create InDesign templates that are shared on the web. Then see how, with a simple web browser, users can customize the template and possibly submit it for approval. Finally, Brand Owners can administrate who has access to online templates and how materials can be made available for company divisions or customers for download.
